Kuumba Dance Ensemble provides authentic experiences with their audiences while preserving and nurturing the art form for generations to come. KDE performs and provides Lecture Demonstrations in the schools, recreation centers, community events as well as church and civic groups. KDE offers cultural drum and dance to the young and the young at heart ranging in ages 4- adult.

Since 2017, we’ve been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.
